Netflix has been updated to support all devices with Android Froyo (2.2) or Gingerbread (2.3) as there had been constant issues with Netflix Android app was available only of couple of systems.
Netflix though will not work on handsets that don’t have 2.2 or higher, so they would all need to upgrade their device. It is available free of cost and with a subscription you can enjoy all the good stuff that Netflix has to offer
