ContactPrivacy Jailbreak Tweak: Warns When An App Demands Access To Your Contacts

Just the day before yesterday we got news that Path the popular social networking app for the iPhone silently accesses our contact and uploads them to its database which made it insecure to use Path for a few people. So Ryan Petrich the known developer came up with a new Cydia tweak called ContactPrivacy which prompts you every time an app wants access to your contacts.

This is very useful if you want to keep your contacts private however the loss is that some apps like Whatsapp do need to access your contacts and if you do not allow them to, they might crash or won't function properly.
ContactPrivacy is a simple yet useful tweak for some but useless to those who don't care if their contacts are uploaded to any database or anything.
Most people do not care much about it so it depends upon you if you whether or not you need ContactPrivacy.

If you are interested in it you can get it for free under the BigBoss repo.
